Excel 2002 ltd was founded in 2002 with the sole aim of offering a competitive service and quotations for Thermal Insulation, Trace Heating, Fire Protection and Acoustic Insulation within the process, heating and ventilation industry.
About us
To date we have currently completed projects in excess to £5,000,000. We are capable of fabricating all sheet metal finishes from our in-house metal shop located within our premises for site installation by our experienced operatives. The Excel management team have in total in excess of 150 years experience within the industry.
We are in a position to offer specification assistance in compiling tailor-made solutions to suit individual criteria or specification interpretation for existing projects. We also have a small works department which enables us to offer a comprehensive service with contract values ranging to suit client requirements.
What we do
Thermal Insulation
Insulation around pipes and ductwork limits heat transfer and provides a vapor barrier against moisture, which improves the thermal efficiency.
Fire Protection Insulation
Fire Duct Systems provide fire protection, thermal and acoustic insulation for circular and rectangular steel ductwork.
Acoustic Insulation
Acoustic Insulation lagging for ductwork, pipes, enclosures, and similar applications where a considerable reduction in the passage of noise is required, combined with ease of application.
Trace Heating
Electric heat tracing, heat tape or surface heating, is a system used to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes and vessels using heat tracing cables.
Metal Cladding
Metal Cladding is used to provide a degree of thermal insulation and weather resistance, and to improve the appearance of buildings.
